Safety
Know who is coming, and where they are.
Every rider is checked before they can work, and every trip is on a map you and anyone you choose can watch. If something goes wrong, there is a way to report it from the order itself.
Before a rider takes a job
Nobody reaches your door because they downloaded an app this morning.
Identity
Checked before any work
A rider submits a government ID and a photo of themselves, and none of it is live until our team has reviewed and approved it. Until then no job reaches them.
Vehicle
The plate is on the account
Every rider records their number plate when they register. The plate you see in the app is the plate we hold against that account.
Passengers
Carrying people is opt in
Delivering parcels and carrying a passenger are separate settings. An Okada request only ever reaches riders who have opted in to carry people.
While it is happening
You can see the trip. So can whoever you tell.
Tracked
The whole trip is on a map
Every delivery and every ride is followed from pickup to drop-off, with the rider's name and plate on screen throughout.
Shared
Someone else can watch
Send a live link to anyone. They follow along in a browser without installing the app or creating an account.
Contact
Hidden until someone accepts
Your name and number are not shown to riders browsing for work. They reach only the rider who takes your job, so the two of you can sort out the doorstep.
If something happens
The things worth setting up before you need them, and what to do if you do.
Trusted contacts
Your people, saved in the app
Keep the numbers you would want to reach in an emergency under More, then Safety, so they are to hand instead of buried in your phone.
Emergency services
Call 112 before anything else
Ghana's emergency line is 112. Call it first and be ready to say where you are. Razzo support cannot dispatch police or an ambulance.
Afterwards
Report it and we act on the account
Every completed order has Get help inside it, with a list of what might have gone wrong. The report reaches our team with the order and the rider who handled it attached.
In an emergency, call the emergency services first.
Razzo support is not an emergency line and cannot dispatch help. Contact the police or an ambulance, then tell us what happened so we can act on the account and the order.
Frequently asked questions
Are Razzo riders checked before they can work?
Yes. A rider submits a government ID, a photo of themselves and their number plate, and none of it is active until our team has reviewed and approved it. Riders who want to carry passengers turn that on separately, and only those riders ever receive Okada requests.
Can someone follow my delivery or my ride?
Yes. Share the live link from the app and anyone can watch the trip in a browser. They see the rider moving on the map without needing the app or an account.
Does the rider see my phone number?
Once a rider accepts your job, yes, and you see theirs. Your details are hidden from riders browsing for work and are released only to the one who takes it, so you can reach each other at the door. You can message them in the app instead of calling if you prefer.
What are trusted contacts?
Somewhere to keep the people you would want to reach in an emergency. You add them under More, then Safety, then Trusted contacts, with their name, number and relationship to you, so the numbers are to hand when it matters.
What should I do in an emergency?
Call Ghana's emergency line on 112 first. Razzo support is not an emergency line and cannot dispatch help. Once you are safe, report what happened from the order so we can act on the account involved.
What happens when I report a rider?
The report is logged against that order and reaches the operations team with the rider who handled it attached. Depending on what happened, a rider can be suspended from the platform.
Can I rate a rider?
Yes, at the end of every trip, and riders rate customers too. The scores build up against each rider's record, so a pattern shows rather than a single bad day.
Is my delivery insured?
Deliveries are not insured by Razzo. Choose the tier that suits what you are sending, say if it is fragile, and pack it properly. For anything of high value, consider whether a courier at the roadside is the right way to move it.
