Razzo

Company

Built in Accra, for Accra.

Razzo moves things across the city: a parcel to one person or five, an order from a shop to its customers, or you on the back of a bike. Same riders, same map, one price agreed before anything starts.

What we are trying to fix

Moving something across Accra has always meant knowing a rider, agreeing a price on the phone, and then having no idea where your thing is.

The price

Agreed before, not after

Every fare is calculated and shown before anything is booked, per drop-off. Nobody renegotiates at the door because the traffic was bad.

The rider

Someone who has been checked

Identity documents and a number plate submitted and approved before a rider can take a single job, and carrying passengers is a setting they opt in to.

The wait

You can see where it is

A map from pickup to door, a link you can send to whoever is receiving, and a message thread if you need to say something.

Where we deliver

Across Greater Accra, every day.

Razzo runs throughout Greater Accra. Enter a pickup and a destination in the app and you get a price straight away. If a rider can reach the pickup, the trip can be booked.

Deliveries can be booked for now or scheduled for a day in the week ahead, in thirty-minute windows between 8am and 8pm.

Drop-offs per trip

5

On a single pickup, each priced and tracked separately.

Book ahead

7

Days, in thirty-minute pickup windows.

Pay on delivery

Only when it arrives

Settled with the rider at the door. Nothing taken up front.

What we run

The Razzo app

Send a parcel to up to five people on one trip, have something collected, book a pickup for a later date, or hail an Okada. Prices are shown per drop-off before anything is booked.

Where riders register, get verified, go online and take work. Jobs arrive with the fare attached, and earnings and commission are tracked per trip.

Razzo for Business

A vendor account with an API, so a shop can dispatch a delivery from its own checkout and watch every order it has sent from one dashboard.

Riders are independent, and checked.

Razzo does not employ the riders on the platform. They choose their own hours and which jobs to take. What Razzo does is verify who they are, connect them to the people who need something moved, and make sure the price is agreed before anyone sets off.

Frequently asked questions

Where does Razzo operate?

Across Greater Accra. If a rider can reach the pickup point, the app will quote a price for the trip.

Does Razzo employ its riders?

No. Riders on Razzo are independent and choose which jobs to take and when to work. Razzo verifies them, connects them to customers, and handles pricing and payment terms.

How does Razzo make money?

A commission on each completed delivery or ride. The customer pays the rider directly at the door, and the commission is settled from the rider's wallet, so there is no subscription or sign-up fee for anybody.

What does Razzo carry?

Anything a rider can move safely on a motorbike: documents, keys, phones, clothing, food, medicine, gifts and small parts. Okada rides carry one passenger.

Is Razzo hiring?

Riders can register in the Razzo Rider app at any time. For anything else, get in touch and tell us what you do.
